Claire stole my phone yesterday and made this clandestine video which I think is amazing. I laughed out loud at the punch-line.

Sybil's first Christmas season

 Meeting Santa.

I thought she would scream uncontrollably, but

Sybil is more of a truth-seeker.

 This girl is extremely happy, social, chill.

 Everyone loves her. Especially grandpa. She cheers him out of all bad moods. He can't get enough of her. Here they are watching the Christmas Devotional. Dad is rocking her exersaucer even as he is falling asleep (no, he's not dead). He always tells her, "Hey! We went to China together. Are you going to remember that?"

Can't beleive I bought this

As I mentioned, Claire is hesitant to let go of the Santa magic. Last week she wrote a letter to Santa.

This morning she asked me at least 3 times why I read the letter she wrote to Santa. I did as I usually do, and dodged the question 3 times.
On the 4th inquiry, I said, "Claire, I want you to think about your question a minute before you ask again."
She didn't ask.

On her Santa list was The Elf. I told her our Elf was in surgery and wouldn't be able to make it this year (he's actually packed and stored somewhere in Arizona). She asked me how I knew this.
This is how I know, Claire:

Primary Program Parts

I was in China when the kids had their primary program. The primary president (my mom) helped them write their parts.

Iris: We are all part of one big family...God's family!

Claire: Prophets testify of Jesus Christ. Prophet tell us to go to the temple. I remember going to the temple open house in Mexico City. There was one rom where we couldn't talk because it was a room that we prayed in. It was white. My Mom told me hat she felt a special spirit there.

Elijah: I felt the Holy Ghost's protection when I was in Mexico City. Someone tried to separate me fro my family and the Holy Ghost told me to hold on fast to my Mom's friend. I knew that Heavenly Father wanted me to be safe. I have learned that it is very important to listen to the Hoy Ghost.

First tooth down

She's had the replacement tooth for months: Shark teeth.
Claire told me that she told Iris that she knows the tooth fairy. Then she whispered to me that she knows the truth. Ironically, Claire is still insisting on sending a wish list to Santa, even though she knows about him too.
